milk and honey is by rupi kaur it is a collection of poems that are sorted into four sections: the hurting the loving the breaking the healing The poems are filled with intense emotion, intense imagery, and descriptions that can make your skin crawl. All of her poems are absolutely beautiful. I totally recommend this book of poems BUT I do give this book a trigger warning to anyone who has ever been emotionally or physically abused. There are some very graphic poems in here that might make it difficult to read. But she was truthful and that is what i think is truly beautiful. She is showing other women that they are not alone in whatever they have gone through. all your emotions and thoughts are valid. you're not crazy.
